Types of bows
Well, it's been bothering me for a while. What does each type of bow do in terms of Speed, range, and curve? Whats the differnece between a jade bow and an Amber bow? What changes between a Composite and a Recurve? I would appreciate it if someone clued me in to what each type of bow does.

Try http://beacon.wiseelben.com/bow.htm or http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Bow
I think these will answer all of your questions about bows. -Ori- |

You can always just use Guru ^_^ .
Yay! Also, Recruve and Composite bows are exactly the same. There's no difference between an amber and jade bow as far as I know, they just look different ( I'm assuming you're talking about the longbows here). I use recurves probably 90% of the time during gvg matches, and only switch to long/short in specific situations. Last edited by Eonwe; Sep 06, 2006 at 02:31 AM // 02:31.. |

Yea, but guru's bow guide doesn't talk about arc size, flight times, armor penetrations, ect. guildwiki has a very indepth guide that also explains the difference in ever kind of bow. And yes Amber and Jade bows are both longbows.

Ok. yeah, I was also wondering about arc and flight times. It interests me. And I believe my whole guild. I think every single person in GEAR has a ranger that they love to death.
